Abstract: The bacterial flagellar motor is a rotaty nano-machine that serves as an engine for the swimming of bacteria. I will talk about the structrue and bahavior of bacterial flagellar motor. Chemotaxis allows swimming bacteria to follow chemical gradients in the environment. I will talk about the molecular network of the bacterial chemotaxis system and how the system regulates the rotation of flagellar motor.
