Dissipative effects of the boundary conditions for the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation

Abstract: Boundary conditions for dispersive equations can have strong dissipative effects. This will be studied in details for the Zakharov-Kuznetsov equation, a 2 or 3 -dimensional version of the KdV equation, which appears as the long wave limit of the Euler-Poisson system.
