Abstract: In this seminar, I will give a short report on two recent works. One is the Casimir interaction between topological insulators. We found that the surface band gap is essential for repulsive Casimir interaction, if the surface band gap is smaller than a critical value, repulsive Casimir force will vanish. The other work is topological nontrivial pair potential in superconductor CuxBi2Se3. Momentum independent pair potential in CuxBi2Se3 can be classified to four kinds. We found that the point-node pair potential proposed by S. Sasaki et.al. breaks three fold rotation symmetry on the [111] surface and seems to be not credible, we proposed a momentum dependent pair potential which is topological non-trivial, three fold rotation symmetric on the [111] surface and consistent with the experimental results.
