Abstract: Quantum correlations, including quantum entanglement and Bell nonlocality as well as quantum discord, have been received a lot of attention in recent years in quantum information science and the condensed matter physics. Because of the unavoidable interaction between a quantum system and its environment, understanding the dynamics of quantum correlations is an interesting line of research. The talk will begin with a brief review of entanglement quantifiers and the concept of quantum discord. Then, some hot topics are given about the dynamics of quantum correlations, followed by some future prospects.
