Abstract: The prepared SWCNTs are generally mixtures of semiconducting and metallic species, the proportion of the semiconducting tubes around 67%, since most applications of SWNTs are best served by semiconducting or metallic CNTS, directly yield semiconducting or metallic SWCNTs  in pure form are very important and desirable. Here I gave a brief review on the progress of the pure SWCTNs synthesis and  in  the recently few years.
