Abstract: Quantum correlations between two distant quantum dots can be induced by Majorana bound states (MBSs) which may emerge at the ends of a semiconductor nanowire under proper conditions. We use quantum discord and entanglement measures to investigate themIn the long limit of the nanowire, we particularly find quantum entanglement can not be induced in this case , but quantum discord can even be generated via only the intrinsic nonlocal correlation of MBSs. This indicates that quantum discord can reflect the intrinsic nonlocal nature of MBSs beyond entanglement and thus provides a way to test the nonlocality of MBSs which may be detectable in experiment.
