The Dynamics of Coupled Quantum Open System: Two examples

Speaker: Dr. Zhi-Hai Wang, Beijing Computational Science Research Center

Abstract: The dynamics of coupled quantum open system is attracting more and more attentions. The strong coupling between different sub-systems will change the energy spectrum of the system and the phenomenological master equation must be modified. Moreover, the interference among multi-channel dissipation will lead to some exotic phenomena. In this report, I will present two typical examples to show such kind of interference effects. Firstly, I will show the quasidark state and asymmetry vacuum splitting in the Jaynes-Cummings model with a common bath. Secondly, I will show the dissipation induced by the collective dephasing in multiple-coupled-qubit system.
