Entropic Propagation of Chaos for 2D Viscous Vortex Model

Abstract

We quantify the propagation of chaos for 2D viscous vortex model towards the 2D Navier-Stokes equation in vorticity formulation on the whole space with relative entropy. To obtain this result, we develop Li-Yau type estimates for the 2D Navier-Stokes equation and large deviation type estimate. This is based on a joint work with Xuanrui Feng (PKU).

About the Speaker

王振富, 2017年5月博士毕业于美国马里兰大学帕克分校, 师从Pierre-Emmanuel Jabin教授。2017年6月至2020年6月在美国宾夕法尼亚大学数学系担任Hans Rademacher讲师, 之后加入北京大学北京国际数学研究中心至今。主要研究领域是分析与偏微分方程, 特别是动理学方程的分析和粒子系统的平均场极限或混沌传播。
