The 6th International Workshop on Solid State Quantum Computing was successfully held in Beijing during October 19 to 21, 2013. This workshop is co-organized by Beijing Computational Science Research Center and Institute of Microelectronics, Tsinghua University, and attracted more than 100 experts, young researchers as well as graduate students from all over the world.

The workshop aims at providing an excellent opportunity for the international scientific community to discuss the recent experimental and theoretical developments in all aspects of solid-state implementations for quantum information processing. This forum provides young researchers and graduate students with introductory and updated research information on solid-state quantum computing, and promotes exchanges of scientific knowledge and enhances the interactions of scientists working in solid-state quantum computing and quantum control.
