- Professional Employment
Professor Shiwu Gao received his Ph.D degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990. He joined Department of Applied Physics, Chalmers University of Technology as assistant professor in 1992, and became associate professor at University of Gothenburg in 1997. In 2006, he was promoted to full professor at University of Gothenburg. During 2005-2009, Professor Gao was also Professor and Director at Laboratory for Surface Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He joined Beijing Computational Science Research Center in 2014 as a Chair Professor.
