The nature of research program in our group is computational condensed matter physics,
and it explores the basic principles in physics and materials science to enable both fundamental understanding of materials with novel electronic properties and
development of their potential applications in multiply fields. Our current research interests include developing defect theories in semiconductors under (extreme-) nonequilibrium conditions,
understanding novel electronic structures of condensed matters, developing computational methods and theories for magnetism, understanding the nonlinear optical and plasmonic properties in materials.
Truly motivated graduate and undergraduate students are warmly welcome to join our group! Our dynamic and innovative research group aims to train every student member to become a highly competitive,
thoughtful, and independent scientist for their future careers.
